Every Revolution Starts in the Kitchen, and Every Revolution Needs a Finish Line

In 2019, we embarked on a mission to create a place where our community could gather, cook, and share meals together. Today, La Paz Kitchen, a vital part of Grandview Park Presbyterian Church, is built—but we need your help to cross the finish line. As we celebrate the church’s 135th anniversary, we are launching a special one-month fundraiser to complete the kitchen by purchasing the essential equipment needed to bring our vision to life.

La Paz Kitchen is more than just a space; it’s a center of community empowerment and social justice. For many families in our neighborhood, sharing a meal is key to building strong, supportive connections. By providing a welcoming place to gather, cook, and break bread, we are fostering inclusion, dignity, and equal access to shared resources. This kitchen will serve as a place where everyone is welcomed because we believe that justice and community are built around the table.
